During my time at High Voltage Software, I had the opportunity to work on my first AAA project. As a Game Designer, I developed and maintained content for a live service multiplayer game subject to NDA. My responsibilities included designing and implementing devices for player customization in sandbox gameplay, creating art assets, visual effects and user interfaces, testing and resolving bugs, and creating documentation. Using Unreal Engine 4 and 5, I worked alongside other designers, artists, and engineers to make accessible tools that empower players to showcase their creativity. Utilizing my scripting skills and engine knowledge, I made several contributions to a live services game with an average of over 200 million monthly users. While working on this project I gained experience working with Unreal Engines Gameplay Abilities System. I also gained a lot of knowledge working on an AAA multiplayer game with live updates. Due to my NDA, I can’t go into great detail about my specific contributions to the project I worked on.
